Our Story

After years of cooking professionally in Minneapolis restaurants and raising my family, I found my way back to my profession through Bakery Louise. What started as testing recipes with my book club girlfriends — my “Super Tasters” — has grown into something that feels like exactly what Shoreline needed.

I’ve always dreamed of having a cafe near the water, and while that day may come, right now Bakery Louise is what it is: a weekly bake for those who find it and fall in love with it. European-style breads, sweet and savory bakes, everything made by hand in small batches with a really cool oven designed for professional home bakers.

Quality food is at the heart of every day for me. There isn’t a day that goes by when I’m not planning something to cook or bake based on the season. It brings me joy to share that with my neighbors and the Shoreline community I’ve grown to love.

All orders are picked up from our home kitchen in the Richmond Beach neighborhood. When you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation with the pickup address and a time window that works for both of us.

We’re flexible — just reach out if you need to adjust your pickup time. Everything is baked fresh, so your order will be ready and waiting.
